Auto Glass Manager

Silver Mountain Glass is looking for an Auto Glass Manager. You would lead a team of installers in the shop, order the glass jobs need, oversee the quality of every install, and keep customers satisfied — working in coordination with the front-desk sales team and the back-of-shop installers and technicians. You must also be fully proficient at installing vehicle glass on high-end vehicles, because you are the one setting the standard. You would belong to a close-knit team and family of around 18 people. This job has extreme potential for career growth. It requires precise attention to detail, and the applicant must be self-motivated, driven, and organized; Auto Glass or previous technician experience is a major bonus.
You must live within 75 miles of Park City, Utah.

Required:
- Able to lead, schedule, and hold a team of auto glass installers accountable
- Proficient installing and repairing vehicle glass for any make or model — databases, repair tools, and manufacturer guidelines and specs
- Able to order glass and materials so upcoming installs stay supplied
- Able to oversee install quality against safety standards and vehicle requirements, and correct issues before the vehicle goes back
- Able to coordinate day to day with front-desk sales and back-of-shop installers and technicians
- Comfortable driving and operating customer and company vehicles through service completion
- Extremely self-motivated, organized, and efficient at job and customer management
- Valid driver license and reliable transportation to job sites and the Park City shop
- Ability to pass a background check
- Excellent customer service and strong problem-solving

Major Bonuses:

The role
This is an auto glass manager role. You lead the install team, order the glass jobs need, and oversee the quality of every install so customers leave satisfied. You work in coordination with front-desk sales and the back-of-shop installers and technicians. You are also fully proficient at the install work itself — moving vehicles, safely removing windshields, and safely installing and repairing windshields and other glass — so you can set the standard and step in when the job needs it.
Responsibilities
Lead the crew.
Schedule, train, and hold installers accountable for quality, safety, and on-time work.
Order the glass.
Source and order the glass and materials each install needs so jobs are not waiting.
Oversee quality.
Inspect installs against safety and manufacturer standards and correct issues before the vehicle goes back.
Install when needed.
Stay proficient and step in on windshields and other glass — removal, install, and repair.
Coordinate the shop.
Keep front-desk sales aligned with back-of-shop installers and technicians from job to job.
Own the customer.
Protect customer satisfaction from drop-off through pickup, by phone and in person.
Track the work.
Keep deliveries, remakes, and job status current — in person and in our job management software.
